Im late I know... but Happy New Year or should I say Happy YOU Year!

Well im back…. its been too long and ive missed you all. I sound like Norma Desmond… however im not that old yet. Ive spent th last few weeks trying to not eat carbs or Gluten and generally get back on track. Last year for me was a trying one and I learned a lot about myself and a lot about other people too. There are some very tough and rather nasty people out there and I hoped I wouldnt meet them on my journey but unfortuanatly the road we travel is full of unexpected twists and turns and I experienced many in 2012.

Now its a New Year and im feeling very positive about everything thats going on. The first Style For Stroke collaboration of 2013 is launching on the 5th of Feb with the brilliant brand www.lovelipcote.com . The strap line is spread love not lipstick this Valentines.. which I love! and 10% of all sales for a month from the 14th Feb will be going to The Stroke Association.

The launch event is looking good and ill be able to announce my special guest very soon too.. if she can make it! There I nearly gave the game away.. silly me..

What a wonderful long weekend! I have enjoyed every day and have done something different too. Great to see the Queen so happy and looking so radiant!

I wish i could have heard what Prince Harry was talking about in that carriage!

Its the Scottish Fashion Awards next week so i am making sure that I am off the carbs to fit into my Duchamp suit I have to pick up on Friday….

Its a short week with lots to do and new business wins and a TV Show to start so Ill update you of course and start to blog properly! Its the first night of one of my favourite musicals SISTER ACT and im going with my pals Hayley, Lizzie and Camilla cant wait!

Ill be singing in the aisles i promise!

This week has been a really good one in London. Its been so sunny and the city really comes alive..

I have been a busy boy this week…

On Tuesday I went to the newly refurbished Met Bar at the Met Hotel - in my day it was full of Oasis, Spice Girls and All Saints…. this time it was full of suits and some glamorous women. I went with Ginny the MD of House Pr and we were all happy to see ourselves in the PR WEEK Power Book 100 I felt really proud to have achieved being recognised in the industy.

On Wedneday I went to dinner with a group of friends at the Millenium Hotel in Mayfair including the lovely Jessica Wright and PP… www.millenniumhotels.co.uk We dined at Avista Restaurant where the food is delicious. Annie who runs the venue is one of my dearest friends and she hosted the dinner with all the guys from No1Bootcamp www.no1bootcamp.com

Today I received my http://www.rulebikes.com/faq I am so happy with it. I have designed the bike and it looks stunning! You will see some of the pics next week when ive learned to ride!

This weekend im off to see the brilliant Jessie J in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust http://www.teenagecancertrust.org/what-we-do/royal-albert-hall/

Bootcamp is No1 !!

last week I spent a gruelling time at No1 Bootcamp in Marbella. I have to say that it really is the best time I have had for a long time. Bootcamp is my thing! it makes me feel refreshed and alive and I loose weight and gain friends…. what more could you want… Every day was a new experience and although I have been poorly recently I still wanted to make the most of the experience. The owner of No1 Bootcamp is my dearest friend Karen and she and I shared a log cabin! We did get some sleep but that was after a debrief!….

I went with ARG and Jessica from TOWIE so it was a non stop week full of one liners… most of them from me of course.. http://www.no1bootcamp.com/ I highly recommend it to people of all fitness levels as its so much fun and you loose weight! I feel so much fitter, and ive got a tan and its not even APRIL!

This evening I am off to see the musical http://www.ghostthemusical.com/?gclid at the Picadilly Theatre - I have seen it before but there is a new cast so looking forward to comparing the two…

I wore my favourite new brand http://markthomastaylor.com/shop/ to Shoreditch House at the weekend - great for when the sun was shining but its still March so my legs were cold by 11pm! and I looked like a tourist in the pub at 12!

Last night I was walking home and I came accross over 100 people all outside the local pub on Columbia road. These wonderful friends of EastEnders star Gemma McCluskie were fearing for her safety last night after she went missing four days ago.

Gemma, 29, who starred in the soap as Kerry Skinner back in 2001, vanished from Bethnal Green, East London.

Last night 100 friends carried out a search and handed out leaflets.

Her brother Danny, 33, said: “We are all going out of our mind with worry. Her phone has been switched off since Thursday afternoon.”

Ex-EastEnders actress Brooke Kinsella tweeted: “Please get in touch if you have seen her.”

If any of you know anything that can help the police find her please call

Well I felt vintage after the brilliant Look 5th Birthday Party at One Marylebone. I went with my dearest friend Lizzie Cundy who I styled in Supertrash. She looked stunning and dressed down which is new for her but the comments were favourable thats for sure…. Alexis Parr from the Daily Mail told me I looked like I could be the new Titanic TV show on ITV! I told her its probably the only thing id go down on… thats rude but im winking as i write it!

The event was so much fun and i caught up with some great pals including the fantastic Louise Roe and Lydia Bright. Zoe Hardman looked stunning and Lauren Goodger really shone in her Purple body con dress… to die for. We played with the Swarovski Crystallized eye rocks and drank lovely bubbles while dancing to a great set from Gemma Cairney!

We spent most of the night hanging out with the LOOK lot including my girl crushes Gemma Calvert, Rhidi and the love of my straight life… Lara Lain!

My neighbour Susie Asbury created an amazing event and the press the next day was brilliant.

My dearest Polly P who is the love of my life and his boss claire came too as their company The Vintage Cosmetics Company provided some goodies for the bags!

All in all it was the party of the week even better than seeing a fellow PR have her hair go on fire at the BOX!!! which really was a specatacle!…

Im off to see One Man Two Guvners! tomorrow… cant wait

Rain Rain Rain....

Last night i went to the wonderful new musical well OLD one but new if you know what i mean… SINGING IN THE RAIN! http://www.singinintherain.co.uk/ it was so much fun! The story is silly but resonates a lot because as we all know a silent movie won all the oscars and this story is too about the advent of the talkies or TWALKIES as the lead character Ms Lamont described them.. The scene with the iconic rain dance was so well done and lots of amusement ensued when the audience in the stalls received an unexpected soaking! I highly reccommend going to see the show the perfect pick me up.

I had dinner at the Spice Market http://www.spicemarketlondon.co.uk/ which is one of the best in London and the food is tasty but not too filling.

Its the online launch of one of my favourite new brands Mark Thomas Taylor http://markthomastaylor.com/ have a look at the product lots of nice things and the T shirts are to die for..

Im off to the LOOK Magazine party this evening and cannot wait to see lots of people ive not seen in ages! Not too sure what to wear yet….

After the madness of London Fashion Weekend which I really enjoyed I had a quiet weekend and bought some plants for my flat and domestic things! which im never good at!]

I went to two great parties last night with my dear friend Lizzie Cundy who I styled in Little Mistress www.little-mistress.co.uk the first was for a new fashion site called http://www.themuse.tv the party was at my favourite launch venue The Swarosvki Crystallized Lounge and we had a really great time and so good to see Lydia Bright there who is alway so much fun and so fashionable….

Onwards to The Box where we went to the launch of a new condom for Durex! the show was brilliant and the venue has got such a sexy appeal it was the perfect setting. Dancing there was Dan Gillespie Sell from The Feeling and the wonderful Vanessa Feltz and her man Ben who were on great form!

The event was for Durex and we loved it www.durex.com lets hope the new products work!! Dont worry im not going to try and test….

This evening im off to the new musical Singing in the Rain… cant wait

Last night i went with my old flat mate DJ NIKKI to the brilliant launch of my dear friend Meg Mathews new collection at Dwell on Tottenham Court Road. The champagne was flowing and so were the guests including the lovely James Brown and Lisa Maxwell - added to that the great and the good of the interiors and style world it was a fabulous evening. I am definitley wanting to get my hands on the skull candles and the russian doll one will look amazing in my flat!

After the launch we were all whisked off to The Cuckoo Club http://thecuckooclub.com/index_flash.html and had a delicious meal. I needed to get home early as I am hosting London Fashion Weekend TV today and then doing a style talk so my wonderful assistant Nicole Cole has done a great job of writing it for me…. sorry i meant WITH me! Tonight its all about the red carpet look and im using Ariella Couture and the brilliant designs by Creative Director Kiri to showcase red carpet showstoppers!

Ill be wearing a combo of Ducamp and Prada with Wrangler Jeans!

Today we finished our exciting stunt with one of our clients… i hope you all like it when you see what we have done… all will be revealed.

Its the last day of fashion week today and the mens shows have been amazing! I was at the Brits last night and had a great time althought the Whitney Houston tribute was a joke and no BIG colaborations!

My best dressed has to be Jessie J and the lovely Lana Del Ray! I really liked her old Hollywood look. im not a big fan of Red on Red but loved their looks…. both totally different but striking all the same….

Ive not really ‘done’ LFW this Season as really dont want to be coughing in all the wrong places at all the right places!

Im off to the Brits tomorrow which I cannot wait for and then on Wedneday my dear friend Meg Mathews launches her new range at Dwell - hope the goodie bags are good! Knowing Meg all details will be there.. and im going with my old flat mate DJ NIKKI so that will always be fun!

then for the rest of the week im in TALK MODE….. its London Fashion Weekend and Im really excited not only to be hosting the LONDON FASHION WEEK TV channel but also presenting two style talks on the Thursday and Friday evenings.. cant wait!

Lots of my friends are coming down so I cant wait to see them OH and I am being interviewed for a major US chanel on Whitney Houston and her style - its very sad that she has left and her Funeral at the weekend was a thing of PURE joy and celebration the perfect way to leave this earth…

Well the weekend was great fun! I went to see the brilliant Wizard of OZ http://www.wizardofozthemusical.com which was excellent. The final song I downloaded as I went home! The performances from Michael Crawford and Danielle Hope were so good and being a Saturday evening the auditorium was full and the experience electric. I just wish the songs lasted for longer …. thats the problem its a movie musical so very hard to expend on the original songs but I do think that Andrew Lloyd Webber has done a brilliant job! We then went to Aqua http://www.aqua.com.hk opposite the theatre and I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the playlist was excellent – it took ages to get served! I think i really am Mr Cellophane when it comes to bars… no one ever serves me!

Last night i watched the Golden Globes with a bottle of bubbly at my friend’s apartment! I have to say there were some brilliantly dressed stars and my two favourites were Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace white one-shoulder gown with folded red detail paired with her red lips and the best accessory ever! Her husband she could do no wrong in my eyes!

Zooey Deschanel looked stunning in her custom made Prada dress – once again i loved the beading but her hair was a bit too contrived and should have been looser! The dark green silk dress with ivory pearl embroidered collar, black and emerald green glass pearls top, and open back was my favourite overall

I also loved Nicole Ritchie in her Julien Macdonald dress and house of harlow clutch – but her hair really was not good it just wasn’t the right length!

The same cant be said for Emily Watson who took ‘nude’ to a whole new level!
